Plans Motorsport wins the 2011 Ginetta G50 Championship

Plans Motorsport has proven to be the dominant force in the G50 Cup class of the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup this year. Tom Ingram, the Plans Motorsport driver, has claimed the championship last weekend at Brands Hatch with one round to spare.

The secret of our success has been getting the best set-up for each circuit from our pre-season testing; a 100% reliable car; a professionally run team; and a talented young driver. Plans Motorsport are the only team to have won the championship in their first year of trying.

Tom Ingram – 2011 Ginetta G50 Champion

After winning the Ginetta Junior crown in 2010, Ingram made the step-up to the G50 Cup class of the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup this year. With 11 Wins and 19 podiums he has won the championship – his second in two years.

“Plans” for 2012?

The good news is we will be running Tom for the full 2012 Supercup in a G55 and are looking to run cars alongside him in both the G50 and G55 class. The cars are available now to test. No experience necessary!
