We offer a select range of products to enhance the performance of your car on the road, track or race circuit. Many so-called performance products fail to deliver against the promises made, or have a detrimental effect on other parts of the overall system.
We are unique in that we only supply and fit products that we have tested using our on-site facility, or are race-proven on our own cars. So you can be sure that whatever we fit will work.
Mail Order: All our prices show a "mail order" price - we take all major credit cards, will accept a bank transfer or cheque drawn on a UK bank with order. Please call with your requirements and we can usually dispatch the same day. All prices shown include VAT, which may not apply for shipping outside the EU.
Fitting: We also list the price to have the parts fitted at our workshop. These prices include parts and VAT. All our parts are fitted by our fully trained, ex-main dealer, race engineers.
Ride and Handling
The best improvements one can make to enhance a sports car's performance on the road and track is not by increasing the power of the engine but by improving the ride and handling. We specialise in this area and, like with everything we do, the improvements we make can be tested on-site
The most basic improvement that can be made, even to a standard car, is to ensure that the suspension system is straight, not worn and correctly set up. Also, after fitting any upgrades to the suspension, the set-up will need to be tuned to take best advantage of the new components and to the individual driver. The Lotus standard springs and dampers have been optimised for normal road use. Nitron damper kits are an excellent upgrade allowing adjustment in ride height and stiffness. These kits are excellently engineered and come complete with springs. We can advise on suitable settings/spring rates depending on your driving style and the ratio of road/track driving. |

Brakes
The next step to improving a sports cars performance is to improve the brakes. This is not only with respect to overall stopping power but also fade-resistance, and feel through the brake pedal.
On the track, most time is made up on other cars not by out-accelerating but by braking later and harder. Hence the need to upgrade the braking system.
However, upgrading the braking system on any vehicle is something that shouldn't be done unless the new components come from a supplier with an engineering track record with the vehicle manufacturer. Hence we only supply parts from proven suppliers such as AP, Goodridge, Mintex and Pagid.

These kits are available for the Vauxhall VX, Lotus Elise/Exige S1 and S2 and are a direct replacement for the standard part. They consist of upgraded grooved disks (which are replaceable separately) on anodised aluminium bells. Drilled disks are largely cosmetic and are prone to cracking. These kits use top quality products and should not to be confused with other aftermarket items. |
